Everyday uses
- Caps Lock accidents: paste the text and click Sentence case.
- Headlines and email subjects: Title Case follows common headline style and keeps small words such as and, of and the in lower case.
- Spreadsheets and lists: tidy names or product titles that arrived in mixed capitals.
- Code: turn a phrase into a variable or file name in camelCase, snake_case or kebab-case. Each line is converted separately, so you can do a whole list at once.
Limits
Automatic conversion can’t know which words are names, brands or acronyms (for example iPhone, NASA or McDonald’s), so give the result a quick check. Letters from other alphabets with upper and lower case, such as Greek, Cyrillic and accented Latin letters, are handled correctly.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalize Each Word?
Title Case follows headline style and keeps short words such as a, and, of and the in lower case unless they start the title. Capitalize Each Word capitalises every word.
How do I fix text typed with Caps Lock on?
Paste it in and click Sentence case. The first letter of each sentence becomes a capital and the rest lower case. Check names afterwards, because the tool cannot know which words are proper nouns.
What are camelCase and snake_case?
They are naming styles used in programming. camelCase joins words with capitals (myFileName), snake_case uses underscores (my_file_name) and kebab-case uses hyphens (my-file-name).
Is my text sent anywhere?
